Bun Sun Signing Guestbook

Eighty year old, Lee Bun Sun had a restaurant in the area of Jwacheon, Dong-gu District, Busan, South Korea that she ran for over 30 years following the Korean War. The area was one of the primary refugee settlements that is nested into the mountains with a view of the port below. It was once referred to as the Hollywood Hills of Busan. The area had a number of shoe factories and Lee Bun Sun cooked for the workers during their lunch break. On average she prepared 30 kilos of rice per day.

This Itinerant Gastronomy took place at the site for No. 18, 501A, Jwacheon Building One, Dong-gu District, Busan, South Korea overlooking the former refugee area where Lee Bun Sun cooked.
